What is Pinnacle Surrogacy?

Pinnacle Surrogacy matches intended parents from around the world with surrogates, willing to carry a baby to term. It also helps structure surrogacy contracts and pay.

How it works

If you’re a woman of child-bearing age, you can register with the site to see if you meet the requirements to be a surrogate. These requirements include:

  • be under the age of 40
  • have completed at least one uncomplicated pregnancy and kept the child
  • have had no more than 5 previous pregnancies; and no more than 3 C-sections
  • be physically and mentally healthy
  • financially stable
  • a non-smoker, who does not take drugs or abuse alcohol
  • be willing to “reduce” a pregnancy, if it’s medically advised and the intended parents agree

The site also will do a full medical and psychological screening to make sure you are a good candidate.

Assuming everything looks good, you would be presented with profiles of families looking to become parents through surrogacy. If you see a profile that you’d find compatible, that family will be presented with your information to see if you can match.

If they’re intrigued with you, as well, the site will set up either an in-person or online meeting.

Once matched

If both surrogate and intended parents decide they want to go ahead with the deal, the site will help both through the legal process that spells out each parties rights and responsibilities.

This includes both parties signing a legal contract that spells out when and how the fertilized egg will be implanted. It will cover what medical appointments the surrogate will need to attend and the medications the surrogate will need to take. It also should have contingency clauses for things like required bed rest and what happens if the surrogate miscarries.

Likewise, this contract spells out the payment schedule for the surrogate. This will include a monthly allowance, that typically starts when the egg is implanted and continues until after the baby is born. Surrogates also get reimbursed for expenses, which include lost wages (for medical appointments, bed-rest and a postpartum period), travel and maternity clothing.

Payments to surrogates typically range from $50,000 to $60,000 for a first-time surrogate. Payment can be considerably more for surrogates who have successfully completed the process before.

If you have already had one child and are now are interested in surrogacy, Pinnacle is one of several agencies that’s worth checking out. You can find Pinnacle here. However, a site called ConceiveAbilities may pay more. According to the site’s surrogacy fee calculator, surrogates here earn anywhere between $50,000 and $80,000 — before expenses. Second-time surrogates earn more.

Moreover, ConceiveAbilities has an egg donation program available to childless biological women under the age of 28. You can earn $10,000 or more with this somewhat less-invasive process. Learn more about ConceiveAbilities here.

Also consider reading through our blog post about surrogacy as a side hustle. It’s wildly lucrative, but also emotional, sometimes painful and completely immersive. Take the time to learn as much as you can before you commit.

What their surrogates say (from Google reviews)

I became a surrogate mom this August to twins and couldn’t be happier with how smooth the whole process was with the parent the support from everyone … I won’t lie, at first I was a little scared. But it was unbelievable all the support I got all around from family, friends, coworkers and the parents. I will definitely recommend this agency to anyone who is interested in helping someone become a family in someone ready to share all the love to anyone who is ready to give the biggest gift anyone can ask for .. once again that all you beautiful lady’s at Pinnacle and Santa Monica med.

I had the best experience working with this agency during my surrogacy! As a first time surrogate, I had no idea what was in store for me. But, my coordinator was a wealth of knowledge and patiently walked me through every step of the process. I didn’t have to worry about anything because the team at the agency worked so hard on my behalf. From the beginning of the process, Rachel felt more like a friend than someone just assigned to my case. She made herself constantly available to me and was always so kind any time I needed her. I am so blessed to have been able to successfully complete a surrogacy journey with this agency!

Amazing experience

My experience working with Pinnacle Surrogacy was nothing less than AMAZING. From beginning to the end and even after . Even my case manager was one of the biggest supporters I had on my side . All the time and patience they put into you to make sure you feel more than comfortable and that you have all the support and reassurance that you will ever need and more . Definitely one the best decisions I’ve made and I am looking forward to another journey with this company .

I am in my second journey with Pinnacle Surrogacy and I cannot recommend them enough! The coordinators work tirelessly to be of support and are always there when you need them. First journeys can be nerve wracking but Rachel never left me in the dark. I am so blessed to have found them as they made my surrogacy dreams come true! I encourage anyone looking into surrogacy to reach out to Pinnacle!
