Don’t get me wrong, my ultimate goal is always to build my own business and achieve financial independence. However, I have decided early on that I will only leave my current job when I manage to generate at least the same amount I currently receive as my monthly salary.
Given my limited time, I decided to focus on these three ways to generate online income.
In the previous article, I talked specifically about how it’s possible to create successful YouTube channels, without needing to show your face. There are several ways and markets where we can invest our time in creating content for YouTube. But my advice is not to limit yourself to creating faceless videos; instead, make videos about what you love to talk about and research (because somehow, to create content, you need to research information for that content).
Creating a YouTube channel, in the long run, will bring several benefits to you, such as:
- The possibility of generating passive income, even if you keep your job;
- Stimulates your need to learn about something new, to precisely create new content;
- Boosts your self-confidence in public speaking;
- Enhances your communication skills and your ability to captivate the audience’s attention (this is an essential skill in any profession);
- You build a community that can open doors to new projects outside of YouTube;
